My Thoughts:
This is such a precious story! I’ve read a few stories with instant families, and even adoption stories, but never one quite like this. This adorable family quickly stole my heart, and I loved reading their story. From hardships and heartbreak, to the hope for something more and a chance at healing, this beautiful story truly had a little of everything, all wrapped up in the beautiful package named Gemma. This sweet little girl quickly became the star of the story, and for good reason! She was instantly my favorite character, and I enjoyed seeing how Mitch and Aubrey learned to navigate the uncertain connection they both shared with her.
