Hello, welcome back for another IMWAYR!

Heh, well I set out to be more organized this month, and have made some progress, and yet somehow I feel even more disorganized than when I began? Anyone else have this happen?

I am making progress on some of the things I wanted to catch up on and finish this month, though, and that will hopefully end up helping with the organization issues, too, when I finally get these last few things finished. That’s the hope, at least. In the meantime, I’m reading some good books and just finished a few that I need to review soon… Moving on.

This week I’m reading:

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? is a weekly post and a place to meet up and share what you have been, and are about to be reading over the week. It’s a great post to organize yourself. It’s an opportunity to visit and comment and er… add to your groaning TBR pile! So welcome in everyone. This meme started on J Kaye’s blog and then was hosted by Sheila from Book Journey. Sheila then passed it on to Kathryn here at The Book Date.

Hmm –

I’m actually in between a few reads right now. I’m working on catching up, and right now I’m trying to focus on finishing a beta read in the next few days. I at least want to have it finished this week, and it’s around 250 words, so I’m focusing on that for now.

I’m also stillll reading this, and needed to have it finished already, so this will be my main read when I’m not working on the beta read.

Where I Stand by Emily Ann –

Did I finish the books on my previous Monday’s TBR? Nope. I’m slowly working on them, but these are a few that I still need to read too, and for my mental health, I’m prioritizing these, and reading them between the deadlines for the upcoming releases. (I’m also not signing up for new books until I’ve read down my current list, which also helps.)

SEAL of Honor by Jessica Ashley –

I haven’t read Delta yet, but with the new series coming out, I’m determined to focus on keeping up with the release dates better and will go back for the other books as time permits. I know I’ve loved each of her books so far, so I’m excited to read more of them, and just have to get better at staying ahead and prioritizing and maintaining a tighter schedule. (On my end, not in terms of adding /more/ to my schedule, but to being better about staying on top of things. I need to stay disciplined and not be so lax -or distractible- and stick to only requesting a few, when I do request, and actually reading those before requesting more…)

An Appearance of Impropriety by Jayna Breigh –

I loved Breigh’s debut, The Hunted Heir, last year, and have been eager for more of her work ever since. I was even more excited to see that this one is the story of DeMarcus’ niece, now grown up, and that this was the book Breigh had intended to write first… but DeMarcus insisted his book be first, lol. These characters! XD

Severed Ties by Taylor S Newport –

These last two are both books I’m hoping/needing to read this month. This one’s on the longer side, but thankfully, this time I’m already caught up on the series, so I just need to start reading.
