My Thoughts:

What a sweet story. Both characters had their share of ups-and-downs in this tale of unexpected circumstances. I enjoyed seeing Hank and Olive learn to trust each other. Hank is so sweet and just what Olive and her small family needed. The small town community was also a fun part of this delightful read. If I were to describe the story in just a few words, sweet, lighthearted, and uplifting are some that come to mind. I felt horrible for both Hank and Olive at the start as they both had a rough start and a painful past, but I loved seeing them together, and their beautiful story of healing and renewed hope was worth it. It was wonderful to see them grow into a place of caring and friendship together once they got to know one another.
