I’m pretty sure this is my first time reading any of Erica Vetsch’s books, and I wasn’t sure what to expect. And honestly, the cover didn’t help me much in that regard, but the blurb sounded good, so I decided to give it a chance. I ended up loving it! Philipa and Bertie were such amusing characters in their own right, and I loved the mystery and intrigue in this one! Ms. Vetsch such knows how to write loveable and entertaining characters (as well as some detestable individuals!) and I loved getting to experience a bit of that here in the first of her latest series.
